This Georgian and Tudor Palace is still an oasis of quiet amongst the hustle of the capital. It boasts extensive grounds, a historic botanical garden, walled kitchen garden with vinery, and lovely terrace with a great cafe/restaurant. Fulham Palace is within easy walking distance of Putney Bridge Tube and they have hired several rickshaws to transport visitors from the Putney Bridge to the Palace gates! There is ample on-street parking (usually) available in Bishops Avenue and surrounding streets.

  • New prints & Etsy update!

I have just finished 4 new prints! You can see these in Brighton (England) at the 2 Open Houses I am exhibiting in, over the next 3 weekends (14/15, 21/22, 28/29 May). See my last blog entry for details. I have been so busy, I have not yet listed my prints for sale in my Etsy shop, which is very frustrating! But I will be doing this in the next few days, so please check back soon! The first weekend of the Open House show I was approached by a gallery and a studio interested in showing my work, so I am very flattered and excited.

I will add some detail shots soon, in the ‘Signals’ prints section.

  • Sneak a peek

Here is a sneak preview of one of the new prints I am working on, which will be ready for the May Artists Open House show. I am finding so much inspiration from my ham radio card collection – this print just uses the ’0′s – both letters and numerals and I am enjoying creating more abstract patterns. I am being drawn to the blue and green colourways, so there may be more in the pipeline…

  • It’s been a busy 12 months…

I just can’t believe it is nearly a year since the last May Open House Festival. It feels like only a few months ago… The 2010 show went fantastically well for me and the venue I was part of (Nine by Nine) was short listed for ‘Best Open House’. Since last May I have been featured in Absolute Brighton magazine twice. In Sept / Oct I had a solo exhibition at Castor + Pollux , the very well respected Brighton seafront gallery, which was just amazing! My Signals no. 3 print donned the cover of the Latest Homes magazine to launch the Christmas Open House event. And was soon followed by my Signals A-Z poster appearing in the The Times Saturday supplement Luxx, in their ‘what’s hot’ gift guide. I took part in the Christmas Open House event at the Unlimited Editions studio, in the centre of Brighton and have been contributing prints to their ‘pop up’ shop on various Saturdays! It’s been a very busy year for me and I’d like to thank everyone who has been so encouraging about my work!

My work has also found it’s way onto so many blogs (thank you bloggers!) here’s just a few:
